Data Science and the Application of Business Leadership in Technology

Northwestern University academic research project that identified 3 major analytic challenges that posed threats to the success of fictional business, Information Systems, Inc. (ISI).
1. Impending need to increase market share
2. Improve ability to compete with countries having a lower labor and manufacturing expenses
3. Create innovative product lines to address investors concerns of waning prospects of market viability and longevity.

Addressed concerns by providing a literature and data sources overview, and top-down, bottom-up architecture design. Data Issues and data preparation were communicated via Tableau Public data visualizations: https://public.tableau.com/profile/ishmael.amin#!/vizhome/Predict480TechnologyGroupFall2016/BuyvsBuildAnalysis. Wrote Python algorithm used to perform ETL, data arrangement, and data source for Tableau visualizations.
